The speakers Marcelo Disconzi (Nashville), Theodore Drivas (Stony Brook), Tai-Ping Liu (Stanford), Simon Markfelder (Konstanz), Hana Mizerová (Bratislava) and Shih-Hsien Yu (Taipeh) gave fantastic presentations of their recent research. More than 30 doctoral and postdoctoral researchers from China, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland followed lectures about the relevance of hyperbolic modelling, analysis and numerics related to relativistic fluid dynamics, (in)compressible turbulence, gas dynamics and the Navier-Stokes limit for kinetic equations.
